Processing Details

The Mallard syntax is designed to be extensible and easy to translate. The following sections identify the means available to process and extend Mallard documents, as well as information to assist with internationalization and translation of Mallard documents.

As an additional consideration for those who are more familiar with DITA or Docbook, a comparative element reference compares elements from the Mallard 1.1 specification to those from DITA 1.2 and DocBook 5.1.
